Riva Privée

Set amidst the snow-covered peaks of the Dolomites, Riva Privée celebrates its 180th anniversary at high altitude in the prestigious Cristallo Resort and Spa. While the Riva Privée was previously hosted as a temporary space in the renowned Stube 1872, it will make its grand return in 2026, coinciding with the reopening of the newly reimagined Mandarin Oriental Cristallo.

During its earlier iteration, the Riva Privée offered an exquisite menu crafted by Chef Marco Pinelli, blending traditional Cortina cuisine with flavors that evoke the sea. Guests were transported into the magical world of the Riva legend, surrounded by decor inspired by the timeless elegance of the iconic Riva yachts.

The reopening in 2026 promises to elevate this unique dining experience further, as the Cristallo transitions into a luxurious Mandarin Oriental property. Guests can look forward to breathtaking views, refined culinary offerings, and the unparalleled charm that has defined Riva for nearly two centuries. Stay tuned for the next chapter of this legendary collaboration in the heart of the Dolomites.

Riva Yacht Experience at The Gritti Palace

Stepping onto a Riva yacht from The Gritti Palace isn’t just an outing—it’s a declaration. This is Venice as few will ever know it: gleaming mahogany, polished chrome, and the quiet purr of a handcrafted Italian icon gliding through the city’s cinematic canals and out into the Venetian Lagoon. As the Gritti’s private dock recedes behind you, time begins to stretch—slowing with each elegant ripple in the water.

Whether you’re headed toward the lace-makers of Burano, the quiet romance of Torcello, or simply letting the breeze guide you toward the Lido, the journey is pure reverie. Champagne flows, conversation softens, and the city becomes yours for a moment—reflected in water and memory. Onboard, your skipper—more curator than captain—shares stories of local lore, secret gardens, and palazzi seen best from the waterline.

This isn’t a typical excursion. It’s a love letter to La Dolce Vita written in salt air and sunlight. And because it begins and ends at The Gritti Palace, one of the world’s most storied hotels, you feel not like a guest, but like Venice itself is welcoming you home.

From the hush of hidden canals to the wide-open beauty of the lagoon, this experience isn’t just about where you go. It’s about how you feel when you get there.
